About Me

It's really difficult to speak about yourself, isn't it?

I’m 31 years old, I’ve been working for an insurance company for the last 2 years, and started doing photography very recently, and now I know that’s what I should do. I’m right in the time of my life where I cannot stand any more to have a dull life and I want to see the world. That’s why I’ve been studying anthropology: I want to know how other cultures think, live, dream. I was in Cuba a couple of years ago and I was amazed by that culture and how everything is so different on what I’m costumed to be. And I think that experiencing other ways of life makes oneself to open the mind, and the heart.

I’m in a couple for the last 4 years, and now we are living together. She was the one that showed me that Couchsurfing existed and told me about her experiences meeting with people from all over the world and how that changed her. And I want to feel that too.

What else can I tell you about me? I’m a geek, but I’m also concerned in social issues. I love jazz (especially when it is accompanied with a good book and a glass of wine). I love to learn new stuff. I’m a good cook (told by my family, girlfriend and friends), and I love to cook to others: I think that having a meal around a table is just the perfect experience to know people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn how other people live, and I realize that when you go out on vacations and just sightsee things, that's not a good way learn about another country. I want to have the opportunity to live like people from other cultures live. And I think that doing couchsurfing is just the best way to really know another country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love jazz, but I'm used to listen to every kind of music.
I'm a science fiction fan. I think Asimov is one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. I also like russian literature, and some of the argentinian literature.
