Hey! I'm Gonzalo, I studied Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 25 years old, born in Antofagasta and currently living in Santiago.

I'm a friendly and open-minded person, always smiling because life is too short to be bored or angry ;) I'm willing to hear about your life and culture and to share mine of course :D

Whoever says Santiago is a dull and boring city probably came here 30 years ago ;) It's an awesome city and I'll be happy to help you discover it!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

'I decided to join Couchsurfing because some friends have had great experiences with it in the past, so I said why not doing it too!

Plus, to me the meaning of travelling is not limited to going to the main sights in a city, taking pictures of them and then leave. Travelling means to me getting to know local people, tasting their food, going to the places they go, learning about their way of life, and most important: making new friends!

I don't see Couchsurfing as free acommodation but as a way of learning, sharing and making new friends!

A nice conversation, a beer (or your local drink haha), and being an awesome friend! We Chileans are very nice people, always eager to hear stories, have fun and, since we are isolated between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains, very curious about other cultures ;)
