Overview
About Me
I'm Gonzalo from Uruguay. I've been a sociologist and data scientist for over a decade, working with people in vulnerable situations. This experience has given me a particular view of the world and social dynamics. Alongside, I got into coding and even I'm trying to setting up a website where I dive into current issues with a data-driven lens.
I'm all about understanding different cultures and viewpoints, a bit of a bookworm and a society watcher. When I'm not buried in data or books, I'm out enjoying nature or exploring the tech-humanity crossroads. I'm a big believer in lifelong learning and sharing what we know and learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to exchange experiences, whether I'm visiting other countries or hosting someone in Uruguay.
What I appreciate most about Couchsurfing is the opportunity to converse with people before staying with them. This way, we can get to know each other beforehand, sharing our interests and personalities, ensuring that we're no longer strangers when we finally meet in person
