About Me

Hi! I am a 24 years old guy from Madrid, Spain. (The tall lad in the picture) I worked as civil engineer in Belfast for the last year and that's why my weird irish accent. Got fed up with the job and as much as I loved Ireland I wanted to travel the world a wee bit, before I find the job I would want to master.

About me, I am pretty simple, very honest, love having a good conversation, a good laugh, a good pint of beer. Always loved things as basketball, playing guitar, singing awfully, hiking and loving the banter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because meeting local people, with who you can really get into their culture sounds like a better experience than staying in hostels with all foreigners as myself.

I have heard as well really good experiences about this from people all over the world and I want to try it myself too.

I will start my journey in Boston and will be in the states for 2 months roadtripping on my own and visiting american friends.

I am looking forward to meet local people there where I go and share stories and culture. If you are kind enough, I wouldn't mind cooking some spanish food if you fancy it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I would love to say I have read hundreds of books but..., but well I am on it! I would say that my favourite book read in English is "The good soldier" written by John Maddox Ford.

American Beauty, Kevin Spacey - brilliant.

Guns n'Roses is my favourite band but I do love lots of styles, if the music is good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Your mum.

Hahaha just kidding mate.

When I was 20 I planned an Interrail with 3 more friends all over Europe, 9 trains, 8 countries, hitchhiking, aquaskiing, motorbike renting in croatia... those were the days!!

When I was 22 I bought myself the sport motorbike no mother wants for her children, and toured around spain during summer, enjoying every bit of it (pulled that thing to 160 mph at an empty highway...).

On a different aspect, some uni friends and myself set up a betting association and all managed by me... we made some money and I am pretty proud of it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would teach you spanish, language, songs, food and answer whatever question you have about my born place. If you are cool to me you sure will have a place to stay whenever you come here to Madrid!!

Appart from that, I might set up a business I have in mind in the next future, I would love to learn about start ups, or just asking what people needs do you think americans have, why would some ideas never land in europe... or that sort of things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To this day, all good laughs and some pints of beer maybe. In the future? who knows, a book, a rock band, a script...
