About Me
Hello everyone, I am Gonza from Argentina, I live in a small city called Bolivar located in the middle of the Province of Buenos Aires, I currently work for an electrical energy distributor, I graduated from a technical school as an Electromechanical Technician, I also worked in a Silos factory as a welder. At work I like electricity, blacksmithing and, inherited from my father, carpentry. I am learning the A2 level of English and I recently finished an A1 of German, I would like to learn both languages well and in the future start with Italian, which is one of the pending things. I like music, preferably rock but I listen to everything without problems, I know how to play the guitar although I don't have a good singing voice and sometimes I forget some chords. I like tattoos, I have some and most are because I liked them, not because they have any meaning. I like to spend time with friends, also with family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm in Couchsurfing because a while ago I decided to live the life I want and that life is traveling and getting to know the world if possible, with its good and not so good things, with its places, cultures and people, I want to make friends from all over the world. and have thousands of anecdotes to tell. Having the possibility of a deep cultural exchange is what I want to learn from others and get to know different cultures. I heard this name from videos I saw of travelers, I started to investigate and it is a very nice community that was formed, everyone helping everyone, it is the concept I have of empathy, knowing that someone may need your help and you need theirs.
Music, Movies, and Books
National and international rock are my musical preference, but I listen to everything, I like reggae, a little electronica, house, dance from the 80s and 90s, sometimes some cumbias. My favorite movies are comedies, I like to laugh a lot, action and suspense ones are fine, I don't like horror ones, and sometimes maybe some romance ones too. I don't know if I have favorite books, maybe because I like many genres, but I read philosophers, Latin American writers, I don't have a favorite, I just like to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Without a doubt the most incredible thing I was encouraged to do was travel alone, it was a step I wanted to take but I had doubts and when I did it it was the best thing in the world, my first trip alone was to Uruguay and I have the best memories. I don't have many experiences traveling alone to many places, but when I did I loved it and that was also what motivated me to decide to want to travel around Europe and why not the world. I feel like I'm starting to live that dream of knowing the world and I'm very happy to say it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a happy person who is always willing to help, whatever is needed I will give a hand, I can also offer to share my culture, anecdotes and experiences, I can share songs even though I don't sing well, I'll clarify it in advance haha I also think that I can offer trust and respect, I feel that I am learning all the time and more in this new world so maybe I can also teach my hosts something, and the most important thing is that they will add a friend.
