About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Beauty will save the world. I hope my paintings help with that :)

ABOUT ME

My atelier and home is located in the middle of a wine country, so vineyards and wineries are everywhere, along with the best food you´ll probably taste in your lifetime. I am an artist from a small town called Chacras de Coria, in the province of Mendoza from Argentina. I paint there and sell my paintings in USA. I teach to senior graphic design students in the local university Champagnat.

PHILOSOPHY

Never see people as means to an end. There are many things in life, people specially, who are valuable in itself, just because they are. And not because they are "useful" to you. Whats the use of a beautiful sunset? Whats the use in listening to a friend when he needs it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing, conecting people, and trying to give back all the nice things and experiences that have been given freely to me by good and generous hosts, specially from the States.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been lucky enough to be hosted many times, specially in the States, by wonderful people; who already knew my work as an artist.

Interests

Art and beauty. Meeting new people. Learning. Virtues. Films. Photograph specially. Art books. A good conversation. Simple and nice people, regardless of their economical background.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some great movies: Hero. Thin Red Line. Bram Stoker's Dracula. ...And would be lying if I don´t add some mafia movies: The Godfather -all of them-. Casino. Good Fellas. Books, lets keep it simple: "Platero y Yo", of Juan Ramón Jiménez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mm... hard to pick. For now lets say this. Done: could be swimming in a Cenote in mexico -google it if you don´t know what it is-. Seen: sunrise from a Monastery in Gualtallary.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share: art, photography, graphic design, wine tasting. I would love to learn: everything else :)
