About Me

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but grew up in Australia for 15 years, so I speak Spanish and English fluently, and I have a huge passion for music and guitar playing. I have lived and studied in Milan, lived in Cambodia for 5 years, and am now living in Munich, Germany. I work as a design strategist in the humanitarian and social innovation sector, and love getting to know people from around the world and sharing our own unique cultural realities & experiences.

I'm a creative individual with a huge appetite for good music, and there is nothing I enjoy more than having an engaging conversation with an interesting individual. If there is good music playing in the background and a coffee or beer on the table, then even better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet some great, interesting people. Share music, stories and books. I have had some incredibly positive couchsurfing experiences so far and made long-term friends, so I definitely want to keep adding to the list.

Interests

I spend my time playing and listening to music, reading and talking to friends over coffee or beer. I love sharing music and discussing books, and learning about other people's cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently listening to: Bahamas, Dawes, Delta Spirit, Andy Shauf, Whitney, John Moreland, Kevin Morby, Phosphorescent and Justin Townes Earle... I'm a musician and an avid music lover, so the list goes on, but I don't want to bore you. Let me surf on your couch and I'll open your world up to some wonderful new music!

I'm a sucker for sad songwriters. I don't know what it is, but I find happiness through listening to sad music and feeling lonely. I call it 'romanticized loneliness', but I'm still working on how to describe this more effectively. People just tell me that the music I listen to makes them sad. But I say that they don't understand.

I'm also right into all the Beat Generation authors, and also Murakami, John Fante, Gore Vidal and Bukowski.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been lucky enough to see my favourite musicians live in concert, and this has definitely been a big highlight of my life. Also, traveling around the world to countries I never expected I'd get to see has been an amazing experience. Met so many great people and seen some incredible places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer great cooking, even better music, stories about both places where I grew up, Buenos Aires and Brisbane, Australia. I can also teach you some guitar if there is one in the house! Some Spanish lessons, or a relaxed conversation.
