About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Just want two things in life: Learn and enjoy as much as I can

ABOUT ME
I'm a simple guy who loves meeting people and going party! I finished my PhD in Argentina (Buenos Aires) and moved to Goettingen in Germany (I'm not a Nerd, at least not a complete one). After my Goettinger experience I moved to Heidelberg to work as a postdoctoral researcher at EMBL. The important thing, I really like to travel and meet new people around.. I like to try as many new dishes, wines and beers as possible in new places. I really like to feel the unique aura every city has to offer and know the stories and culture of local people. I am a guy of science but also of music, I like to sing and I am (slowly) learning how to play the guitar. I like to have deep talks about any topic even those that are a little bit polemic like religion, politics and others... if it is with respect and an open mind it is very interesting to talk about this and try to understand other people's way of thinking.

PHILOSOPHY
We are all the same, there is no better, just different! Just live! Be happy and do well to others! Time can't be rewinded and life is too short..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just a few experiences but we have to start somehow, no? I have host once and be hosted four times. All these experiences were great!! So I think CS is a really great project and I really want to keep meeting people and enjoying life with them!

Interests

I am a posdoctoral researcher in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.. Ok, that is not so funny.. I like music, I like to sing, I'm learning to play the guitar, I'm very social, love beer and more if it is with cool people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite Music:
Portishead, Massive Attack, Bjork, System of a Down, Evanescence, Sui Generis, Charly Garcia, Mercedes Sosa.. and many others.. these are my favourite but I can really listen to almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cannot imagine about this.. so difficult.. I enjoy life in general.. so many amazing things.. those that are not amazing.. just move on and keep being amazing..

Teach, Learn, Share

I only teach at the university (about algorithms, computer programming and biophysics) Teaching in the real life is a very big responsibility.. I cannot really think what could I teach.. I think we all have things to teach to others just by being ourselves.. I just try to be open to everything and try to learn as much a possible from everything and everyone.. If other people learn something from me in the process, GREAT!

Share.. share this world, this life.. share our time.. that is the only valious thing we have, we cannot take time back.. so it is easy, don't waste your time.. share it with cool people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my story.. my experiences living in one of the most southern countries in the world which includes meals, culture, history and so on.
I can share my view of life as a guy of science which is a little bit different from what you see in the big bang theory show (well.. sometimes is not that different :P).
