ABOUT ME

Hey there,
my name is Andreas.

My hobbies are football and fitness but as well reading and going out with friends. Since I turned 18, I started traveling as well. (So far I've traveled to Ecuador, Peru, UK, Portugal, Israel, US, Sweden, Belgium, NL, Russia, Croatia, China, Thailand, Vietnam and of course Greece)

I am interested in almost everything.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that a good way of living is to feel free as long as you respect the feelings of the people surrounding you. This does not mean to have no own opinion. I am looking forward to making new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard of Couchsurfing by a friend who recommended it as a unique experience. I attended various Cousurfing meetings and hosted people myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already surfed some couches.
My best couch surfing experience was in Ecuador where I surfed a Couch in Cuenca.
The family and me liked each other so much, that they offered me to live there for almost two months. I learned to be happy without much and have now a second place to call home, 10, 000 miles away, just because I surfed a couch once.

Interests

I am interested in everything new.

My Hobbies are Football, playing the classic guitar, gym, learning new languages and by far the most:New cultures!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am interested in many forms of music and always open to learn something new.
I used to play flutes, drumset and oboe and at the moment i am learning the guitar.
I like the movies by Quentin Tarantino.One of the best movies I've seen so far is definitely Memento! (A must-see)

My favourite books change but in general a like crime stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are too many amazing moments in my life. Especially the small ones ;)

A really amazing thing is that I got the chance to travel for one year which I really enjoyed!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know Ecuador because I lived there for about 8 months.
Further, I know a lot about sports and the methodology behind it such as nutrition, exercise and coaching.

I think I am a good listener and would like to learn more about cooking :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happiness, an open ear and whenever needed, a helping hand.

My friends tell me I can also share a high degree of randomness but you have to judge yourself once we met. :D
