Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I stayed with several hosts on a long motorcycle trip in summer of 2011 and every one of my hosts were interesting and amazing in their own way. Since then I've hosted quite a few individuals and it's kind of like a little mini vacation in your own town. I absolutely love it and spread the word whenever I can. I love to meet new surfers/hosts and to me it's the only way to travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everybody I have stayed with has just been very respectful and amazing. I have learned so much from other hosts and have been able to share some great experiences. I have learned something from everyone that I have stayed with and from now on, whenever I travel, I will definitely look to couchsurf.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes vary throughout the year which include the 80's, rap, banda, alternative, classic rock, a little bit of country, etc. I'm open to just about anything. I've always been more of a nonfiction reader but lately I've started in on some literature classics and they're not too bad. Books are interesting but I don't think I've ever read a book twice. Some of my favorites are: Alive, 1984, A Child Called It, The Giver, & The Glass Castle. I'll watch just about any movie but some of my favorites are: Pulp Fiction, Into the Wild, Django, Happy Gilmore, Serendipity, Strange Brew, Wild Hogs. It's a crazy list, but whatever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things that I have seen is northern lights in Spokane Washington. I would love to see them again. I spent a week in NYC and felt that everything I saw was amazing especially the view from the Empire State Building. Motorcycle trip down the Pacific Coast. Made my own beer. Worked on a firecrew.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied social work in school and feel that I have strong listening and counseling skills. I am very open-minded and can communicate with many people without having any bias. If I were to teach others or share my expertise, I would say that I can help individuals recognize their strengths and build their confidence to conquer their goals or everyday challenges. As far as learning, I am open to anything.
