About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel through Europe getting to know cool people as I go
ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate from Emily Carr University and am heading off to travel for a year. I am starting off in south east asia then going to hop over to Europe for a few months in September. I love anything active... running, biking, dancing, climbing, snowboading, surfing. I do a little bit of break dancing and have recently started hula hooping. I am going to south east asia to meditate and volunteer as well as get my Reiki level 1 and 2. I love adventure and can say that I get along with most anyone. I am positive and outgoing. If you would like to know more you can always contact me or read my blog which there is a link to on my website http://www.aleahdunfield.com
PHILOSOPHY
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so" -Shakespeare
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Once I settle I will definitely be opening my couch up for people. I have in the past shown foreigners around my hometown and have even gone as far as to take them out introducing them to friends. I feel like each city can be best experienced through locals who can show you all the best places to go and show you what the culture is really like.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been couch surfing amongst friends and family for the last three months. I feel very grateful so usually try to clean up or help out with my host's place as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Fire walk with me, anything David Lynch really, The Point, Natural Born Killers, What Dreams may come.
Everything except country and hardcore punk. I am loving the Books, Akron Family, Q-tip, LCD soundsystem and Britney Spears (I know I know).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
camping through the Baja of Mexico. Working in the middle of the great Canadian wilderness for 8 weeks straight. The giant glacier by Icy Straits Alaska. Meditating in a temple in a remote city in Northern Thailand for three weeks, hula hooping and doing promotion in exchange for room and board with a Thai family.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have recently learnt Reiki along with other energy healing techniques and would be more than willing to share these with people. I also have recently acquired the skills of palm reading and doing Mayan cosmology.
