About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Build some dams, plant some trees
ABOUT ME
Through the years, I've developed interests in a variety of things. Literature, language, writing, exploring the country, Ultimate, hiking, river sports, mountain sports, silent sports, and Wisconsin cheeses.
I recently finished a southbound thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail a thru-paddle on the Big Muddy, and a long-distance hike on the Ice Age Trail.
One short term goal is to run a 5K race in under 20 minutes within the year.
PHILOSOPHY
Know your home. Life is what you make it. Be engaged with yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy getting together for a meal with anyone who's in town. I'm more than happy to offer space in my house for sleeping accommodations. I'm not shy to surf on others' couches or to spend a day with a fellow surfer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I suppose I started out couch surfing before I knew of the site. I've met a few people for coffee, hosted multiple people in Steamboat, and surfed couches throughout the Midwest along the Mississippi River.

Teach, Learn, Share
I have developed many "practical outdoor skills." I am excited to teach the game of Ultimate, canoeing, and offer some good books. I am always eager to learn, which means I am eager to teach. I would love to learn more about gardening, cooking, and religion.
