About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I‘m working on a project where young people learn languages with rap music:

ABOUT ME

I studied cultural studies and neo-latin languages. I vote the Green Party and like simple things like wine, cheese and swimming.

PHILOSOPHY

Life can have a fulness like the cheeks of a euphoric trombone player right before the first tone has reached the ears of the audience. And life can be as empty as the whiskey glas of exactly the same player after the show.
I love the life. And what I adore about it the most is that we can decide how it looks like. We are the designers. If life was really a movie, we would be the screenplay writer, the actor and the viewer, too. I think to obtain positive, the only thing you have to do is spread positive. As you make your bed, you must lie in it. So put some chocolate onto the pillow.

Interests

I'm interested in art and therefore in culture and philosophy. I love music. A friend of mine once said "life is like a movie, just without the soundtrack". In my life there's definitely a soundtrack. I remember a certain kind of music to every chapter of my thin book of life. Even when I think of the early days - when I had nothing in my head but planing how to become a power ranger, a detective or a pirate - I hear the pop ballads of Nena my sister used to play. I love to eat well, drink coffee or wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

You could spend nights and days with me discussing which is the most important, influential or inspiring movie. I like Jim Jarmusch-Movies. "Night On Earth" is marvellous. I became a fan of Woody Allen's works in the past months. Haven't watched them all - but I'm working on it. I love the loving irony he sees in the life of people.

When it comes to music I have a varied taste. Music can give us certain feelings and as I am a creative man, different moods have a different impact on me and my work. Nina Simone is the queen of Jazz, Louis Armstrong the king.

My favourite book is "Der Minus-Mann". It's the autobiography of Heinz Sobota, a person, who spent his life doing terrible things. His style of writing gets me. I also fell in love with the way the german author Hermann Hesse writes.

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Spain, Switzerland
