About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I was born in the town of Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. The world famous Boracay island is located in our province. The wild and fun Ati-atihan festival takes place in Kalibo every second week of January.

Kalibo is the jump-point for Boracay Island as it has an international airport.

On its own the town of Kalibo has several attractions

I used to host couchsurfers during the Ati-atihan festival. However, heavy pressures in my work has prevented me to continue the same.

My family and I have been very helpful to travelers, especially those who are interested to explore not only the beautiful island of Boracay but the other attractions of Aklan province.

In my own little way, I want to guide couchsurfers while there are in Kalibo -whether passing by or visiting.

Me or my younger brother Macky is willing to meet you to give you pointers about your stay in Kalibo and Aklan province. We know we can help make your trip more enjoyable.

As we are both working, Macky or I can meet you at a coffee shop just near the Kalibo, Airport after 5 pm. We can provide you with information that tourists would normally ask about our place.

To those who are interested, the coffee shop is called "Cafe Sicilia by Saylo." This is well known to the local tricycle drivers at the airport or any other location in Kalibo.

At the coffee shop, look for their managers Julia and Herson. These are both friendly, warm and pleasing individuals. They usually give complimentary coffee for tourists and travelers.

So hope to see you in Kalibo!
