CURRENT MISSION

Survive! :p
Again! After one year of backpacking around Asia, Australia and Africa and a year of hard work in Canada we are on the road again. This time we set the goal to road trip through USA with/on our first baby Zuska (Suzuki V-strom 650). We are super excited to discover the wild wild west and less wild wild east of the new continent and to do that we will reach out once more to the community to help us make it a better and more human experience.
Because people make the moment and the memories!

ABOUT US

We are a couple known as J&J as our friends refer to us (which stands for Justyna & JC).
JC is the Master Planner and organizer, he is the brain of operations (!!!) traumatizing Justyna with schedules, plans, strategies, inventories, To Do lists... Justyna is the Queen of Improvising, has spontaneous ideas, which traumatizes JC, and takes over with last minutes fixes when life happens and ruins the plan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cause it's a unique experience opportunity to meet amazing people around the world. We have faced so much kindness since we travel, which is amazing. We knew there are good people everywhere but our expectations got so surpassed!
After those 2 years, we still remember more "casual" situations that stick in our harts because they were made extraordinary by people we met than extraordinary places..

Interests

She loves languages !!! She works as a teacher and interpreter! Hope to learn as much languages as possible !! Learning about the communication between people and cultures, she believes this is the key to a better community life. And then, she dances...

He loves extreme sports and sensations, crazy things. News, politics, geopolitics...Everything which is connected to the world and the humanity!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Impossible to list just one. Life itself is too amazing!

US
. New Year on Times Square NYC ... definitely memorable!!!!
. Emei mountain, 2 days under the rain and 60000 steps
. The Mae Hong Son Loop by motorbike, 600km and 1864 curves.
. Got married! What a crazy thing to do... but it was the best party EVER!

HE
. Get a caiman bare hand in French Guyana
. Make my father in law more drunk than me... and he is Polish!

SHE
. Volunteered for a dogotherapy association - I worked with my beloved labrador to help sick and disabled children open, come across their fears and have some extraordinary moments while in hospital.

Teach, Learn, Share

She can teach languages : french, spanish, polish, english; share some tips on language learning, crosscultural communication and traveling. Also, as a total DIY freakshe can help with all kinds of useful, useless, décoration, etc. And she loves cooking!

He can share a meal (that she cooked :p), a good beer (that she served :p ) and an interesting conversation! :)
