Born n raised in Moscow. I have been living in Colombia and Spain while studying spanish so i can speak un poco. I love to party and my friends know me as a heavy drinker, so beware! If you want me to host you, just give me a shout! Of course I can show you around, though there are days when I am too lazy, in this case I will give you tips where to go and where to get there. I can get well with any kind of people, if they are interested in having conversation with me of course!

Ok, I recieve a lot of mails from the people asking me different things about Moscow, so I decided to do my little F.A.Q.
1) What is the best time to come to Moscow?
If it is your first time, I definitely recomend May-August period. Why? Because it is warm. While first time in Moscow you might like to do some sightseeing and it could be hard to do when it is -20 outside. Plus there are lost of summer festivals in Moscow. But in the winter it is ace fun too, I especially recomend NY period.
2) How should I get to the city center from the airport/train station?
Train stations are normaly situated in the city center. From the airport just take an Aero-express.
3) What should I see in Moscow?
Take a picture at the Red Square, listen to the steet musicians at the Arbat street, take a long walk at the boulevard ring, have a picnic in the Gorky park, Kolomenskoe, check out Chistie Ponds, Art-strelka, which is the cultural center with museum, galleries and bars, also vernisage in Izmailovo, and much much more.
4) Where to eat?
For me it is hard to answer this question, because normally people want to try some russian food. When I want russian food I just ask my mom to cook. Anyway you might want to check Mari Vanna, and if you saved some money and want to go luxury in Moscow, check out Puskin (delicious but expencive !!). If you never been to Georgia and not planing to go soon check out places with georgian food too (yum-yum). Chito-ra or Saperavi for example.
5) Ok, and what about drinks?
I love to drink and party so do my friends so here are the places where we like to go.
Krasniy Oktyabr' (Красный Октябрь): this is a name of the neighborhood where lots of famous bars and clubs are (Rolling Stone, Gypsy, etc.) Be carefull, if you are more then 3 people I recomend you to separate by couples and pretend that you are not together. Don't ask, just do, for some reason in Moscow face-control don't like to let big groups in.
Propaganda: the oldest club in Moscow, drinks are not expencive, fine if you like electronic music. Oh yeah, famous gay-parties on Sundays, so go there or beware depends what team you play for ;)
Krizis Zhanra: drinks are cheap and live music on Fridays and Saturdays, if you like rock music (not only to listen but to dance too), go there!
Gogol: also has some interesting gigs, but you have to buy a ticket. All the other time the entrance is free and it is a fun place to drink.
Casa Agave: must go for lovers of latino music or mexican food. Good for pre-parties, at 1 am is nearly empty already.
Kamchatka: LOOOAADSS of hipsters but cheap beer, cheap vodka, everybody is drunk and drinkin outside. Trash but fun, I recomend.
I can make an endless list, here are the places that came to my mind first.
6) What is the cheapest way to move in Moscow?
Metro
7)Cheap places to sleep?
Find a couch ;) Or http://www.hostels.com/russia
8) How much money will I need in Moscow?
Very popular question which I can not answer. Better-more I guess.
I might add some more information later.
