About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world on a shoestring.
ABOUT ME
Traveling is my passion, and I take as many trips as I can. I have been traveling on and off since 2013, taking less and less breaks from travel recently. I like to say I have become something of a budget travel expert, especially at finding cheap plane tickets. I work only to travel and I'm trying to combine the two. I love new experiences and making new connections, I endeavor to try everything at least once. Love to make new friends around the world and experiences new things. If you have a frisbee or a volleyball lets play. Also take me to your favorite swimming/cliff jumping spot
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am open to host surfers, but I will be traveling soon, so Ill try to hook you up with someone in my home town if I can.
Interests
I've been doing some hitchhiking lately and love it, if I could travel by hitchhiking only, I would.
I love vans. Specifically vans people convert to live in. I have joined the craze #vanlife and recently built my own van which I brought on an 8,000 mile trip in the American west in late 2017.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love adventure books, gripping novels, and short stories. If you can get me to sit still long enough to watch a movie, it would be a Wes Anderson film or an Indie Film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snuck onto the Montego Bay, Jamaica airport runway led by some locals and sat behind jets as they took off, almost blowing us into the ocean.
Lived in a tent for 5 weeks in Mexico with almost no money. Sometimes being attacked at night by wild dogs. Sometimes no food. Always kindness from strangers.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have recently decided to not let a single learning opportunity escape me, no matter how trivial the skill I am learning. Most recently was billiards. Hoping to learn French and/or German in 2018.
I think sharing experiences with "strangers" is one of the most real things you can do. But I always say strangers are really just friends you haven't met yet.
Whenever I'm going through a spot of bad luck I say "I've been through worse" And then I try to laugh imagining someone else in my situation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an adventure buddy, bar mate, or just conversation partner. Everyone can teach me something, and I can (hopefully) teach something to everyone.
I don't know if it's a skill anymore, but i can usually find the cheapest way to arrive to a destination, finding the
