ABOUT ME

I love travelling. Okay, that doesn't say much since pretty much everyone on CS loves travelling. But I really thrive on it. I constantly need to plan for the next trip and that's really what keeps me going.

I really love experiencing the different cultures and being able to meet people, from all over the world. I also love animals. In fact, sometimes I think my love for animals overpower my love for human. The humankind can get so ugly, sometimes.

I like being happy. I'm always laughing and I just love having fun and communicating with people but no, I do not see the need in filling every moment spent with another person with yakitty yak yak. Silence can be nice sometimes.

Okay, i don't do descriptions very well. So come, if you do come to Singapore, I can bring you around and you can get to know me better, then! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year, a friend and I CS-ed through many parts in Europe and I have to say, the best people that I have met were those through CS. There's just thing with CS and like-minded people who don't lust after materialistic things and are not pretentious. In a really far-fetched way, it has restored my faith in man kind.

UPDATE! I have met some of the most amazing people on this trip thus far through Couchsurfing. We meet up everyday in Barcelona and have great fun at all these bars and clubs then sight see together. seriously, what will i do without couchsurfing!

I have zero CS experience! :( But the first one is just round the corner...come April? (I absolutely cannot wait!)

Soon, this page will be really populated & active. Well, at least, that's what I'm working on! I aim to couchsurf through Europe - the big trip that Prashant & I are planning. So help me populate this page! :D

Interests

I am interested in SO many things. I find it almost hard to come up with a list.

Well, i like to read. But I don't live my life buried in a book. I love a captivating book and I hate when the book doesn't engage me enough to not want to put it down. 'Cuz then, I'll be stuck with a 'half-read' book & I won't move on to the next. Weird huh? I just finished Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami and i loved it!

Okay, i like taking pictures & I love starring at powerful photographs. I just love how a photograph can capture a moment forever.

I love movies as well! Oh and I love the sun and water sports and I also enjoy cooking & eating & travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music. From classical to ballads. The only thing that gets on my nerves is probably heavy metal & trance.

I don't really like making lists. So, let's talk about it.

Recently, I've been catching up on the must reads like Orwell's 1984, Catcher in the Rye, Catch 22. & the 2nd hand book store @ nottinghill gate is my favourite secret haunt.

& there are way too many good movies & books for me to come up with a list. But I can tell you that I'm a movie buff and I love a good book, anyday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tibet, hands down. It is the most amazing place I've ever seen. Once we got off the train and were on the bus, we saw how we were that much above sea level that the clouds could cast shadows on the mountains that we were passing. It was THAT awesome.

Everything was just so picture perfect there, right out of a post card. It is The most pretty place i've been to and watching the people there live their lives has taught me alot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook. I can make your arms look slimmer on photoshop. I can make my box look prettier. I know how to work a camera. i hate making lists! So tell me, what do you wanna know?

But of course, I'm also really into learning new things. Like how I just learned to beautify this box!:)
