ABOUT ME

Two wanderlust 20-somethings who pride themselves on how rare it is for them to describe themselves as wanderlust 20-somethings. Brought together on the breeze of a spring afternoon by the random expanding and imploding chaos that dictates the plot of the universe, they grab onto each other and braced one another to keep from being tossed off the merry go round that is existence. Huge fans of pizza, and kittens!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a duo we've yet to have our first CS experience.
Ashley has had incredible adventures both surfing and hosting. From rock climbing in the needles of South Dakota that involved repelling down a hundred foot climb, which was a first (and terrifying). To finding artistic inspiration from a host in Detroit, and sharing her quirky fondness of sheet forts, wacky attire, and the American tradition of Thanksgiving with an international house guest.

Interests

Photography, comic books, hiking/exploring, guitar/banjo/music, arts n' crafts, cooking, stand up comedy, writing, doodling (which is less an interest and more an obsession), yoga, and building blanket forts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bleary eyed and sleepy, on the morning denouement of a two week trip, the excitement and romance of New Orleans still stinging in our ears, we were awoken by the first sparkles of a sunrise and snowfall on the peaks of the Blue Ridge Asheville North Carolina. The rays giving us the strength push threw the final hours toward home.
