About Me

Back in Paris after a long time, this time around I would like to meet amazing folks and share some travel experience and also if you are interested to wander around and explore the city let’s meet up.

I'm born and raised in a small town close to Mumbai, India. I have lived in Glasgow, UK for 6.5 years and now call the city my second home. Moved from Glasgow to back home in early 2014.

When I'm not working I play football or at least try to get a kick about whenever I can and also hang out with my friends, go for lunch/dinner and movie at least once a month with them.

I might seem to be a quite person initially but after getting to know me after a while, you would discover a fun side of me who also enjoy going around places and travel.

A nice quote I read on a blog which I really like, "Make your today so awesome, yesterday gets jealous"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always fancied the thought of traveling to different places, experience what the place has to offer and soak in different cultures/way of life. I have few friends on couch surfing who have traveled few countries, met each other and traveled together, which have always got me more inspired to do so it as well.

In 2015, I went to Thailand for short vacation. I was on an island called Koh Phangan and it was the best vacation I have ever gone to. I met so many travelers who were back packing south east asia. They told me their traveling stories and it is what inspired me even more that I should go traveling.

The final straw that got me to join couch surfing was when I went for my friend's wedding at the end of last year. There I got introduced to people who my friend had met them either by hosting them or being hosted by the folks. They were such a nice bunch of people varying from different age group to from different countries. Literally, on that day there were at least one person from 6 continents, penguins couldn't make to the wedding :P This made me thinking of the opportunity I could have of meeting people from different walks of life and sharing each others culture and stories, in turn make friends with every citizen of the world while discovering myself during the journey.

Interests

I like playing sports, mostly football but due to few injuries I'm not able to play frequently. Recently, I have been practicing Parkour/ADD/Free-Running, which was introduced to me by few traceurs who I met at my friends wedding last year, but only got to start it during my recent visit in Singapore. It was really one of the most interesting, fun and positive thing I did, met and made good friends, shared positive energies while helping each other to overcome obstacles.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen mostly to RnB, Hip-Hop, Rap and some chart toppers. I have also been slowly listening and getting more fond of EDM and trap music. One of my fav. moment was when I got to see EMINEM live in concert, it was one amazing gig.

Movies:
I like to watch Comedy, action and sports based movies. Seldomly, watch sci-fi movies and scared of horror movies. Basically, I like to watch entertaining movie.

Books:
I'm not an avid reader but have read few books. I like philosophical and mythical books. My fav. book so far is "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari". Have also read a couple of drama, fiction and mystery books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a road trip across Blackforest, it was an amazing experience. Ate the famous Blackforest cake and saw this beautiful massive lake which is bordering 3 countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn different languages and pick few good things from different walks of life, which I could bring them along with me back home and share it with the people around me. Also, would like to make good traveling friends and share a bond which I wouldn't have been able to form by just sitting at home and not exploring the world.
