ABOUT ME

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT... age shouldn't be a chronological thing, rather its more about vitality, waking up, and remembering oneself. i've lived a full life, a life that has taken me all around the globe on endless adventures.

born and raised in new york, i majored in drama and performing arts. acting onstage from movies and theatre. with a musical background in sax and piano, i opened and started up the legendary jazz club called Slugs, in the east village (new york).

after 8yrs, i decided to close shop and spend the next 25yrs living mostly between the philippines, and india, and in particular goa. getting into a lot of things, from tibetan buddhism to gurdjieff, and they all had a profound effect on me. "i really wanted to make some changes..."

spent 7 more years sailing in a friends yacht around the indian ocean, including africa, sri lanka, boreno, japan, and the philippines.

and finally landing in new zealand 11yrs ago, where i now call golden bay my home.

i was referred by a friend whom had a surfer at that moment. she'd wanted to see more of the area and the people and i offered her a chance to show her around in exchange for some help around the house.
