Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Before knowing about CouchSurfing.org, I found myself opening my house to many travelers, mostly through my place of work...a cafe in Hamilton that often sees traveling folk stopping through.

Now, I'm embarking on traveling myself, and hope to meet the same luck I've provided for some others. Chance favours the prepared mind, so here I am pre-empting that luck.

I'll always value travel, and so, whenever/wherever I settle, I'll surely keep my couch open.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sung solo with orchestra in front of a few thousand people...it was quite possibly the most intensely brilliant feeling I have ever experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy dialoguing about and facilitating further learning about the use of voice. I have learned a lot about life through singing, and through singing with other people.
I have strong feelings about people learning about kitchen skills, and would love to talk to anyone about how to care for knives as well as possible.

I know some things, and would love to learn more things, about organic farming, permaculture, and the associated pieces of integrating them into a culture that has forgotten about how to eat proper food.

I would love to learn about the techniques required to play further instruments, or techniques for intriguing types of voice work, like throat-singing. I also recently started learning more about bicycles and forge-work, and am interested in furthering my knowledge.
