ABOUT ME

Hi there, Im Gord
I work and live in downtown Vancouver. Although I grew up in the suburbs, I truly believe that this is the best place on earth, and it's too beautiful to not share with like minded travelers. Looking to host people to network with for when I decide to travel myself.

I work shift work as a paramedic, so looking to host and tour guide fellow couch surfers on my rotating time off of 4 days at a time. (I work 4 days on, 4 days off)

PHILOSOPHY

Im a pretty chill guy, try not to worry about the things in life that I cant control or that don't affect my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live alone in a 600sq/ft 1 bedroom apartment in downtown Vancouver close to all the mass transit hubs. Close to the seawall, many pubs and clubs, Granville street, Davie Street, many great restaurants, and even other youth hostels.

I have a couch or a comfy air mattress, and all the bedding and towels you will need, as well laundry washer/dryer available in the building.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on many couches from Vancouver to Montreal and Whitehorse, Holland, Germany, and Montana in the USA. Sometimes with friends, sometimes with randoms I've met while on roadtrips

Interests

Anything involving team sports like rugby, hockey or volleyball, or anything up in the mountains year around; snowboarding, hiking, camping, downhill and cross-country mountain biking.
