I'm a Scot 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, that's a little off of qualifying as a Mechanical Engineer.

Ever since I took the leap to solo travel to Italy, I have been on a pursuit of more travel full life.

After my training I fully intend on doing long solo trips.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because one of my favourite aspects of travelling is the people I meet.

Along with the experience of seeing the world yourself, you make friends who share the best stories and give you helpful information.

Visiting a country is great but meeting locals allows you to fully embrace the local culture and provide an experience like no other.

From learning more about the country through the eyes of a local, to learning knew skills, finding hidden gems and tasting local cuisine. All the while making a possible friend for life.

Naturally as a Scot living in bonny Scotland; I'm into hiking, camping, exploring, and socialising.

My interests change all the time, I constantly like to do new things and gain new interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

80's Glam Metal is what I connect with and gets me energetic. Although, I most music.

I don't enjoy reading fiction books and seem too only stick with Non-fiction. Over the past year I've read : Outliers, Psychology of Money, The Meditations, Atomic Habits and more.

Movies with a sort of hubris seem to be my favourite. Where the person starts from nothing, gets massively rich doing illegal activities, and inevitably ends up busted. Such as American Dream, War Dogs, Blow, Wolf of Wall Street.

I also like gangsta/mafia movies, fantasy such as Game of Thrones. Comic book movies will always hold something special to me as they were my favourite growing up.

I can offer you many things.

I can help out around the house, cook up a nice meal, help you out with some DIY (sort off).
