About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Connecting and serving people from all walks of life.

ABOUT ME

Friendly, courteous, love to travel and fun loving. Sometimes I talk too much but there's also a quiet side to me. I am a sensuous man and enjoy all the fine pleasures that life has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep learning till the day I die. There is just so much knowledge to wrap my brain around. Living life is a wonderland, it is truly amazing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting because the universe has been generous to me so It makes me feel good to give back to others as a form of paying it forward, I love it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been mostly great. The people we've met have been fantastic and some have even become lifelong friends. We've learned so much from surfers who have traveled to places I had no idea about and would have never thought of traveling to.

Interests

I'm a foodie, just love to make and eat good delicious food. Going to a foreign country and diving into their cuisine is my cup of tea. Learning about the culture, history and just mingling with all sorts of people turns me on. Eating healthy and staying in good shape is also extremely important to me, so swimming and X-country skiing is my exercise of choice.

Music, Movies, and Books

Avatar! Finally the story is told from the other side. The Notebook, truly a great love story. Phantom of the Opera, Oh, Electronica! Kaskade, Deadmaus, all dance music, Buddha Bar, Cafe Del Mar, B-Tribe, love smooth jazz, classical. I love reading non fiction, history books my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold my house, business, car, bought a motor home and took a one way trip for two and a half years across the United States and Baja California. Climbed my first fourteener 20 years ago, cruised through the largest dam in the world "the Yang Tse". My third year at "Burning Man". Captain of a 45' ft. luxury yacht on the Mexican Riviera for 6 months. Amazing, amazing, amazing!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've lived a fairly long life, at least past the halfway mark and I've acquired a decent amount of wisdom along the way. The many subjects I've studied would be a waste if I didn't share them with someone who is willing to learn so I'll be the teacher when the student appears. I intend to couchsurf around the world and teach as I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Life experiences and knowledge that was acquired through working and studies can be shared to those who are open and eager to learn.
