About Me

I've been lucky enough to move from country to country for the last few years and i can sustain this journey as long as psychically or spirtually possibly- İve been skateboarding - taking photos and teaching English for as long as i can remember - it keeps everything in balance for me allows me to travel and be creative..

İm laid back and funny (hopefully!) my passion is attempting to understand and question all the weirdness that makes up society and us animals. at the same time i try not to get consumed by being too serious or caught up with following endless bullshit on the news etc.. though it's hard not to sometimes.

These days im trying a new balancing act with my life. There's a constant struggle i think where society and it's pressure push you and mold you in all kinds of shapes - sometimes necessary sometimes redundant and repulsive. İ'm at that stage of trying to find a form of radical freedom to be myself completely.

When i travel i'm not really interested in the museums or attractions (or in Europe the endless statues of ''great'' men on horses) i like to listen to some music and skate around the streets wherever feels good. or take the train and get off wherever catches my eye with no prior planning - my ideal day would be to sit and watch people in a foreign country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The truth is for me meeting new people is both really scary and extremely rewarding. İ'm a person who loves to be alone but i am realizing i'm happiest around people! Couchsurfing helps me meet people wherever i go and i really love showing people around whichever city im in. Moreover - the Couchsurfing philosophy of trusting each other and helping each other anyway we can is one which i have always loved and try to exapand whenever i can host

Music, Movies, and Books

İ really can't go a day without my ipod! my music tastes are incresingly extremely broad now.
My passion is Death Metal and Grindcore but i've always liked Jazz - 90's hiphop and underground hiphop. Joy Division Cure and all the british PostPunk bands of that era. Nothing poppy!

Teach, Learn, Share

not sure about ''teach'' but im happy help anyone with there English or Turkish and skateboarding classes are always fun haha. İ think i can learn alot from the travelers i meet- everyone really is quite different yet we all have many similarities. i like to learn people stories how they ended up in their current position. for me life has been a string of coincidences and risks and i think it's the same for a lot of people.
