About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the countryside and now work in the Paris area, where I've been living for the past 12 years. In the meantime, I studied a bit in Sweden, worked in the US and China and I've especially had my good share of travels.
I'm just curious, like to discover new places, keep learning things all the time, meet new people... benefit from each and everyone's experience to enrich mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's an interesting way to connect with new people, discover and experience new things, simply share.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books: The grapes of wrath (Steinbeck), The city of joy (Lapierre), One thousand splendid suns (Hosseini), 1984 (Orwell), Into the wild (Krakauer), The hitch hicker's guide to the galaxy (Adams)

Music: Mostly Jazz-Rock, World jazz, funk and good rock oldies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept on the great wall, swam with whale sharks, got pissed beyond belief on a bus, bargained fines with the cops, finished a 3-day hike in 5 after getting lost in the bloody mountain, climbed the wall of my hotel to get to my room past closing time, nearly drowned while swimming when I saw a shark which turned out to be a harmless dolphin, slept in the open facing the midnight sun, woke up surrounded by a herd of yaks on some other occasion, shared a room with a massive tarantula, lost my LP on the first day of a trip, went out to the pub and forgot my hat and gloves while it was freaking -40° outside, saw Lenin on his death bed as well as the perfect sunrise over Bromo volcano...

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, once I taught a bunch of CSers how to fix frog legs... if you're up for it... I mean it actually tastes pretty good ;)
