Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great first Couch Surfing experience in Italy in August 2013, and so far it has been great! I love the fact that totally strangers are open and friend to each other, and the bond of trust is built between us.

Interests

The world is full of fascinating subjects and things to do. My interests change, or rather expand all the time. I love languages and learning other cultures, travelling, yoga. I am currenlty very much interested in nutrition and finding my own life- balance. I like crafts, sew a bit, love a great movie and a book.
I like to say to myself that I run nowadays, but I wouldn't like to officially admit it, as I am really bad in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really like to go back to 2007 when I took a year off uni and went away teaching English in Argentina and travelled around South America, as well as studied for a semester at a university in Granada, Spain. I really felt free, independent and grown up.
The whole experience of making plans for that year, saving money, meeting all those amazing people and seeing places is trully unforgetable!
Now, a couple of years afterwards, when my dreadlock are long ago cut and I have an adult job at a corporation, I like to do smaller trips just to get a hint of that feeling, as Proust said “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Montenegro, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Uruguay
