About Me
!!! I have been inactive on CouchSurfing between September 2017 And June 2023. But here I am again, ready to be an active CS member again!
CURRENT MISSION
to improve my Norwegian, and to ENJOY every single moment of my life!!!
ABOUT ME
I don't 'plan' my life much in advance (as if I've planned it at all ;P)
I am Polish and grew up in the suburbs of Gdańsk. At the age of 22 I moved to Finland and lived in Helsinki for seven years. And in September 2018 I moved to the very south of Spain where I lived till March 2022. Then I was back in Poland to spend some quality time with my parents. And since May 2023 I'm in Norway working as a nurse in Fagernes. Nothing of it has been planned, it has just happened to me...
If everyone followed the rule 'treat others the way you want to be treated', I guess the world would be a much better place to live...
I love nature. I smile a lot. I have no problems or at least I can't see them. I'm always optimistic.
I enjoy all kinds of tea (especially the ginger and lemon grass one), and I love sweet juicy watermelon in the summer time :)
I love meat and all sorts of animal foods and I love all kinds of soups, I'm sorry vegans....
Now a bit more about my 'don'ts'...
I don't drink coffee/vodka/gin/whiskey, occasionally I have a glass of wine or maybe two, or if there is some great company an d the night is long I might have even three.
I hate cheating, and that's why I always travel with a valid ticket ;)
I don't enjoy museums much. For me traveling is not about visiting new places but rather meeting local people and listening to their unique life stories...
I may forget your name but I will remember your face forever.
I don't take many pictures when I travel (sometimes I don't take even a single picture), unless I visit my family.
What goes around, comes around.
No expectations, no disappointments.
Live and let live.
Do what you love, and love what you do.
Enjoy the small things, and be happy.
Share what you have even if you have little.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm doing amazing things all the time ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn anything you'd like to teach me, there's sooooo many things I don't know.
I can teach you how to make 'pierogi' :) and of course I can teach you some Polish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
for some technical reasons I cannot add my 'PHILOSOPHY' in other sections, so that's why I put it here:
I live to be a happy person. I believe that people are good in their nature and that we should not be afraid of anyone. Smile can overcome almost everything, so keep smiling :):):) And of course I always look on the bright side of life :):)
What else? Hmmm... I can be happy with really small things and I believe we can achieve whatever we dream about but we can never give up our dreams. But of course you need to act, not only dream :)
I really hate planning. I just live day by day :):)
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
"Don't ever let someone tell you, you can't do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can't do something themselves, they want to tell you you can't do it. You want something, go get it. Period. All right?" [The Pursuit of Happyness]
"We have no choice of what color we're born or who our parents are or whether we're rich or poor. What we do have is some choice over what we make of our lives once we're here." [Mildred D. Taylor]
"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." [Dr. Seuss]
AND... Do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
