I used to be an Erasmus Buddy at my university, it means I've been a person who has helped several Erasmus students during their stay in Poland. This experience has really enriched my life, I've even started some really amazing friendships which last until today.
So, this got me a little addicted to get to know some new people from abroad from time to time. Finally, I went on Erasmus myself and got to experience all of those emotions I saw in others' faces when they came to Poland. That was really something, and it was just a beginnig! That was also a moment when I started using properly my couchsurfing account. It helped me a lot when French people told me they closed dormitory office at 3pm, so nobody can give me the key until the very next day :D.
In the meantime, I try to visit new places in Poland and abroad, get to know new perspectives and cultures. I've hitchhiked in Europe with my boyfriend Mateusz. I think Couchsurfing creates a great opportunity to meet people living in a country you go to which is necessary if you want to know it from more than just one perspective. After all, the most important thing about travelling is not a place where you are but people you are with.
...And I reeeaaly prefer spending money on food than on a hotel ;).
