Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I became Hospitality Club member as soon as I realized how great experience it is. My older sister introduced me to HC. We traveled along Spanish coast together being hosted by many HCers. My first unforgetable, big trip. I was 18. Even though I was taught by my parents how to be very hospitable I couldn´t belive that people are able to open their houses and hearts to such an extent. I looked at hospitality exchange, sharing and trust from quite unusual angles. I went to Warsaw´s Winter Camp and Berlin´s Beach Camp and understood that it is a worldwide, multiculural thing. I discovered Couch Surfing project a bit later on. Didn´t wait a minute to sign up. I fall in love with its userfriendly website and morover found out that in a city where I live CS has got much more active members than HC - and this´s why I pushed HC aside. London is full of great CSers - there´re lot´s of meetins/gatherings/parties/picnics/free hugs campaignes ets organized. I enjoy this way of participation as well as hosting people and being hosted while traveling. My sister is CS London´s ambasador and thanks to her I am constantly in the middle of CS life. For almost one year a place where I lived with my sister was open for CSers and HCers 24hours/day 7days/week - we literally had guests every single day :) Being a host is really addicting!!! I try to squeze out all the good things from Couch Surfing!
