About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To get my Bachelor's degree

ABOUT ME

I hope that one day I will be able to travel many places in the world. I love to at least go to Germany where my Dad's family is from and to Ireland where my Mom's family is from.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy Life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can, go out and meet with cs'ers as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been able to do some surfing and recently did my first host. I hope when I finish school that I will be able to really get out there and do some traveling.

Interests

I taught First Aid,CPR, and did disaster work on the National level for about 15 years. I got busy and my (ex)wife did not like me being gone for at least 3 weeks at a time so I stopped doing it. I would love to get back into voluteering for the Red Cross.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- I love comedys but willing to watch just about anything with someone. Books- I have just started reading other than for school. Not sure what I like the most but so far the books I have read were great. Music- I will listen to anything but Rap/ hiphop. For some reason have not found a way to listen even if I don't like it like some other genre. I do try to listen to talk radio when I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helping out Cubans that came to Key West in the 80s during the floatilla

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about many different things. One way to learn things is to travel. The more I learn the better I can interpret for deaf people. I LOVE Deaf culture and sign language.
