Overview
About Me
Anthropologist turned management consultant turned social impact road warrior. I've been working independently for about 1.5 years, providing direct support to entrepreneurs and business owners who are having a direct, positive impact on their communities. I thrive on learning others' stories (that's the anthropologist in me) and embrace the opportunity to learn a new perspective or have a new adventure. Three quotes that are part of my "mantra" that I use to motivate and guide me:
"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." ~George Bernard Shaw
"There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self." ~Ernest Hemingway
"Live to the point of tears." ~Albert Camus
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I absolutely love getting to know people and their stories. And, for now anyways, money is very very tight - so when I'm traveling (for work or for pleasure), saving a penny goes a long way to using that penny to pay for the absolute necessities - rent, healthcare, food, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped give birth to a baby zebra on the African savannas during a thunderstorm....ha jk, that would be pretty impressive. But - I have gone swimming with great white sharks off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa. That's 100% true.
