Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Hungary but since 2011 I've been living in Austin, the fun, friendly, and sunny capital of the great state of Texas. Originally came to Austin for work (I'm a programmer by trade), but soon I realized that I loved physics and wanted to study it seriously. First I started taking night classes but the whole thing kind of escalated and in 2016 I quit my job to become a full time student at Texas State University in San Marcos.
Fast forward to 2019 I finished my masters and decided that while I had a lot of fun and learned a lot of cool things about the universe (and semiconductors), maybe grad school is not for me after all. So now I'm taking some time off to visit family and friends in Hungary and travel around Europe for a few weeks before I go back to the US and start looking for a job.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A friend introduced me to the community in 2009 and I can't imagine a better way to travel since then. I can't just think of one specific experience, every CS experience is unique.
Interests
I'm a geek in many ways. I love science, computers and technology, video games, sci-fi, anime, and more. Lately I like reading philosophy books, both eastern and western.
I love music. I play the piano/keyboards, and I'm learning to play the guitar (I still kinda suck though). Playing in all kinds of bands was a big part of my life growing up, and though I don't have a band right now, I still love to go out to live music shows, both big concerts in large arenas and local bands in small bars.
