About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to get out into the World - meeting new people, visiting many places, getting to know new cultures and becoming part of more and more interesting happenings. And having FUN!

ABOUT ME

I am a smiley person, a bit introvert but open to the world. I love travelling and am keen on meeting new people. I have been to many places but there are still heaps to be explored. I am hard-working, have a "can-do" attitude and I am also a good listener. I have my bad moods but all in all try to make the best out of everything.

PHILOSOPHY

Follow your DREAMS and Live Life to the FULLEST!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started using CouchSurfing so I am eager to learn more about it and get more into the Community and eventually host and be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only have indirect experience as 3 people I know have been hosted and/or have hosted travellers. They could only tell about great experiences - so I am curious :)

Interests

I love travelling. I love dancing, reading, hiking, watching movies, spending time with friends and sometimes also being on my own. I am very much interested in psychology and people, other countries and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: 60'-70'-80' - nowadays I tend to start liking the newer ones as well, Country - Ballroom dance - Classical music
Movies: varies a lot (e.g. "Pay it forward", "Into the wild", "Inception", "K-PAX", "Singing in the rain", "Bourne-trilogy"...")
Books: varies a lot (e.g. "The Power if One", "Tomorrow-series", "Psychology", Ken Follett books...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Together with my boyfriend we took a 2-week tour starting from Budapest, travelling along Austria, visiting a bit of Italy and then back to Hungary. Not only the fact that on our first day we did not know which way to go and just picked one of the highways and moved along from there, day by day, places to places, made this trip so awesome but the fact that we did some rough downhilling (I loved it :)) and also paragliding and besides, saw amazing pieces of nature and culture: lakes, hills, mountains, beautiful cottages, snowy mountain tops... Just amazing.
I spent one year in Australia as an exchange student. That was an awesome year meeting many new people, living with 5 different families to which I could connect really well. I also went on a nearly 4-week trip around half of Australia. The first time I paraglided I saw the beautiful sky and shores in Queensland.
The other year I went to Thailand - on my own. The only things that were organized were my return flight ticket to and from Bangkok and the hotel I spent my first night at. All what happened afterwards were a matter of spontaneity and freedom :) 3 weeks nearly on my own all way long - amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do not consider myself as a good teacher, but I love ball-room dancing, talking about Psychology.
It is difficult to categorize what I'd be interested in to learn (e.g. programming, playing the guitar )- there is just so much.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
