Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open for hosting, and hoping to spend more time on other people's couches. I really haven't got the money to do very much traveling, but when life finds me on the road, I'm always open to meeting new folks and sharing a pint.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Heard about it and hosted a few good folks while I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Kazakhstan, Central Asia. Peace Corps has its own sort of unofficial couchsurfing going anyhow, so that gave me a bug that I haven't quite fought off yet, nor would I like to.

Interests

All things outdoors - running, biking, swimming, kayaking. If you want to run, I'll come run with ya. If you know where the local pickup futbol matches are, all the better.

I just finished up Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, so that's kind of altered my mindset in unimaginable ways. So I guess I'm a hippy now.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you know any live music events, I would absolute love to go. Country, Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz.. ok, maybe not classical too much, unless you have a wizz on the piano.
