About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the World a Better Place

ABOUT ME

Above all I'm a big dreamer. I love adventures and challenges! Now i'm dreaming about being a great mountaineer and climber. Besides I just want to be a good person.

PHILOSOPHY

Leave this world a little better than you found it. (Baden-Powell)
Reach for the moon. Even if you miss you'll land among the stars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few times. I've participated in some CS meetings. But above all I'm spreading the CouchSurfing idea!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hitch-hiked (randomly a little bit) all around the France for 7 weeks and I was hosted by lots of wonderful CouchSurfers.
I've hosted two times in my student room in Bordeaux.

Interests

Meeting people - I like meeting diverse people of different cultures and listen to their life stories.
Mountain - hiking and climbing.
Languages - I'd like to speak many languages so I'm still trying to learn some new and practice these I know.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, In to the Wild, Shawshank Redemption, Hero and all with James Bond
Music: jazz, film score
Books: The Lord of the Rings, all the stories about Sherlock Holmes, non-fiction books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran a marathon. I reached the summit of five four-thousanders - 4 in Alps and 1 in Tian Shan. I swam in a glacial lake at 3560 m - Ala-Kul in Kyrgystan. I hitch-hiked in winter from Bordeaux to Warsaw (about 2300km) in three days during a very cold weather. I hiked alone in Pyrenees. I took a hard seat 44-hour train trip during the Spring Festival Rush in China.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Polish, English, French and also some survival and mountaineering skills or how to solve the Rubik's Cube.
