ABOUT ME

For me, so much if the journey is about what I get to eat along the way. The different tastes are what I remember long after the travels, and often they define my experiences in any given place/time. :)

I rode an ostrich and ate its kin for three meals on he same day in South Africa: a curry for lunch, a steak for dinner, and a massive omelet for breakfast. Did you know 1 egg makes an omelet for 12 people?

On a school trip in China there was a breakfast buffet in which fried, de-legged locusts were served alongside eggs and toast. Amazing!

Kimchee is much spicier in Korea than in Japan, but China has the most impressive array of cheap meat - and especially lamb - at Korean BBQ joints.

Peanut butter is my favorite creamy substance. I could eat spoonfuls with a carton of milk.
