About Me

My partner (Sunshine) and I are currently living in a Buddhist centre in the Lake District and looking to head to Glasgow to take part in the People's summit COP26. We'd love to meet other wonderful humans who are taking a stand for our Mother Nature and learn more abut what people can do for our planet.

We love hiking and anything that gets us out in nature. We're vegan and care a lot about the environment, hence our excitement for COP26!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done some travelling in parts of India, Thailand and Nepal. Also a few countries in Europe but I'm trying to move away from tourist-style travel and want to meet some real people and experience places in a different light.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm so bad with favourites. I enjoy a lot of different media for many different reasons.

Music: New Order, Alt J, The Vaccines, The Courteeners, jazz, acoustic music, Taylor Swift, country, Maribou State...

Books: anything thriller, philosophy, women's rights, feminist literature, about the environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A three-week expedition in the Scottish Highlands! Three weeks in nature, no phones, no shower but great people was a surreal experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
- I can talk for days about anything physics- ask me questions about our vast Universe and we can realise just how little physicists know... but we do know some things.
- Maybe I can teach you a little about the impact of our diet and daily choices on our environment and how we can make small changes to massively reduce that impact! :)

Learn: I'd love to learn more about growing your own food, about the local area (for hiking and adventuring) and nature!

What I Can Share with Hosts
