About Me

Hello! I think this is an amazing concept and I am happy to take part in the sharing of home and resources. I come from a small town in Montana and love the outdoors and farming. I am currently going to school in western Massachusetts and it has been a very different experience! I have found a passion for biology and all things living and the natural world fascinates me. I could talk all day about mushrooms or the abilities of plants. But, I would love to listen to you as well-- I love to learn from others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel, especially back home in the west, and hope to meet kind and interesting people along the way. I think it is wonderful that we can connect with people who want to share their home and time for others and I am very much want to give back. I can help out around the house, listen, or draw you something.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read! If you know any good ones let me know, but my favorites:
Phantom Tollbooth
Sirens of Titan
Paradox of Choice
Martian Chronicles
Go Tell It On the Mountain

Music: All kinds of music, but a lot of metal (stoner/psychedelic), alternative/rock, folk, old country -- Chelsea Wolfe, Marty Robbins, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Grimes, etc.

Movies: I really like horror movies but, ironically, cannot watch gore. Favorite horror: It Follows. I also like animated movies: Akira is one that I enjoy. I will watch most things, though. I love: Florida Project, Harold and Maude, Ikiru and Seven Samurai.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Growing food! It's amazing to watch something grow from seed to fruit.

Teach, Learn, Share

I usually have colored pencils and crayons -- I'm always up to making some art!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can listen and provide conversation-- I love to meet new people. I can draw or make various things to share with others or help around the house. I can bake and will help with cooking. Thanks again for offering your time and home :)
