I'm travelling to Spain and France in 2018 from late February - March. I will be in Barcelona from February 20th, and then Seville and Madrid. I would love to get to know more about your country and the amazing things that make your country so very special :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in getting to know new people from anywhere and everywhere and experiencing unknown destinations. I love how Couchsurfing brings together people from all over the world, and it's wonderful how interconnected our global networks are.

HEALTH AND FITNESS
I like to stay active and healthy - I go to the gym regularly and love that rush of adrenaline. I love to dance! For me this is the freest and most beautiful form of expression.

INTEREST IN LANGUAGE/CULTURES
I enjoy learning languages and meeting new people; getting to know about different cultures by chatting to locals and experiencing firsthand their unique customs. I enjoy cooking and wish to share with you food from my culture and my hometown :)

PHILOSOPHY IN LIFE
I can see the value and beauty in everything and I love spontaneity, even though I tend to also make careful plans. I can laugh uproariously about the most silly things but also enjoy being intellectually stimulated. I'm a huge fan of witty and light-hearted banter.

Music, Movies, and Books

Broadly speaking, reggaeton, jazz, older hip hop and rnb, salsa. I love Lauryn Hill and Gaelle; anything with soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This part is asking for one amazing thing but I'm just going to ignore that (:

Riding a motorcycle in Saigon to the pier just before sunrise and watching the light set over the city and riding a camel in the Gobi Desert near my dad's hometown in Inner Mongolia are two memorable moments that will always stay with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am originally from Manchuria and speak Chinese (Mandarin) and can teach/practise with you English and even some Mandarin. I'm looking to improve my Spanish and practise my spoken German. I would love to hear all about your experiences and tell you about mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bake and can cook tasty food - I love to converse and I'm kind, easy-going and have a good sense of humour. I'm happy to pitch in wherever I can around the house.
