I was born in England but moved to New Zealand when I was 7 to be raised. I was always a homebody and never dreamed that I would have the confidence to travel, especially alone, but in May 2016 I bought a one way ticket to the USA and only just returned home in December 2017! I've caught the travel bug... bad.. and am moving to Canada with a 12 month working visa under my arm.

I love travelling solo and understand the importance of embracing people from all walks of life, cultures, upbringings and nationalities and the power travel has to bring people together.

Travelling on a one way ticket, I'm hoping to find some like minded people that can show me round all the cheesy tourist places but also show me some hidden gems of their towns. Back streets, cheap street food, underground live music basements and then come out with me for a drink or two or three. And food places.. cause I love food. I wanna get out of my comfort zone and travel the world in the most exciting way I can.

Photography is my main passion, other than dogs but I'm never sure whether 'I love dogs' counts as a legitimate interest answer. I also have an odd interest in history and show me some amazing architecture near you and i'll be v impressed. I really love to be social, I think about food roughly 45 times a day and love to go for 'one' cider at a sweet neighbourhood bar on sunny days (or rainy days), (or Fridays).

I can offer you lots of funny, crazy stories and if you really want me to then i'll chat about my dogs all night long. Cooking is a massive passion of mine, so if you show me the local market i'll cook us up something yum yum. I'm always up to try new things and being in a new foreign country I would love to accompany you out and about, but of course I'm happy to chill and do my own thang!
