Recently a student in København, but have a more permanent settlement in Spokane.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had an amazing experience on Couchsurfing so far. I've made some really stellar relationships that I cherish, and in blown away by the generosity and kindness of the people on this site. It's my favorite way to travel. I'm stoked to host people as soon as I'm in a more settled situation.

Interests

I'm a photographer who mostly does outdoor adventure stuff and concert photography. I love hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing. I drink coffee and early grey every day Also: food. All food. I love every food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music changes everyday, but consistent favorites are Yellow Ostrich, Sylvan Esso, Jonsí, Alt-J, The Smiths. As far as movies go, I love everything done by Wes Anderson. My favorite film is "Moonrise Kingdom," but I'm also a sucker for "Jurassic Park". My favorite author is Jon Krakauer, the author of "Into the Wild." I'm crazy about everything he's written.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attended a very classy party in Reykjavík with Sigur Rós, then drove around southern Iceland for a day where we met some hitchhikers and almost died on an unstable cliff outside of Vík.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a positive person with an irrepressible sense of curiosity and adventure. I'll happily share a beer and a laugh, or spend a quiet evening with an intellectual discussion. I can swap political ideas, favorite artists, or recipes. I'm a pretty low-maintenance person; I pride myself on not being fussy. More than anything, I will be endlessly grateful to you for letting me intrude on your life for a day or two, and I'd love to make a friendship that lasts longer than my stay.
