NOV 2020: Traveling from VIRGINIA to ALASKA *** WHO WANTS TO HIKE OR BACKCOUNTRY SKI?

A few years ago I decided I wanted to live in another country different from my own. I have taken off to China and hope to learn alot from them about how they live life. (Now I've returned one year later - I noticed my name is "Peach" which is the translation of my Chinese name. I'm also called Grace.

2018年我住在中国桂林。那时候我学了汉语，半年后自己去云南和新疆旅游。我一共在中国9个月左右，还想继续学习中文，而且更了解中国人的文化。其实，在我来看中国食物比美国好多了，更不但更丰富而且更便宜。

ABOUT ME

I'm optimistic, love action and adventure, exploring the great outdoors, curious, and cheerful! I'm not the biggest talker in the world, I wonder how people can go on talking and talking, that is a real skill. I'm not too much for night-life or partying, I like to enjoy the sunshine during the day! I'm terrible at planning, and try to be sporadic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first trip using couchsurfing in France a delightful experience. I loved having a "family" to accept me into their house and be able share stories and adventures of out travels - to compare and learn a little bit more about each others cultures!

Interests

I enjoy running, feeling the wind on my face, hiking up mountains, and hearing the tweets of birds and waves of the ocean. I've worked with sled dogs for a year, went to China to live and travel, and now the lure of the sled dogs have captured me, planning a trip to Norway to run with dogs, who love to run.

To chill I enjoy video games - Age of Empires, WoW [past], Dota 2(go OG !) , the Witcher and other random games. I also really like board and card games, if I can find friends to play with.

I like to read books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked across a bridge created by giants (according to myths) in Northern Ireland. Like for real, epic.
Milking goat's milk directly into my coffee in the morning (with udder hairs, ick) in the Netherlands
Teaching monks English at a Buddhist temple in China.

I studied Molecular Biology in college (small scale biology - what's going on inside your cells)
Used to work fixing medical equipment for 3 yrs, saved up money to travel...til my wallet runs dry.
现在没有钱了。我先要开车去阿拉斯加然后找工作。
