Hi there!

I'm Grace from Auckland, New Zealand. I’ve been backpacking since the end of June 2018, and absolutely loving it. So far on this trip I’ve been to the United Kingdom, Croatia, Spain, Slovenia, France, Portugal, Morocco, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland and Hungary. A friend recommended I check out Couchsurfing since it's a great way to meet locals. I'm an easy-going girl who is laid-back and easy to talk to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals and expand my knowledge of the areas I visit. I'll mostly be travelling with friends but during my solo travel, it would be great to meet a new bunch of people who are easy-going.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was boarding an Emirates Plane, a man stopped me and asked what instrument I was carrying. He told me he planned to propose to his partner in Business Class and requested my bandmates and I play during the proposal. So I got out my saxophone and got the once in a lifetime experience of playing on a plane. And the fact it was for someone's proposal, who just happened to spot my instrument while boarding is awesome.
