Overview
About Me
Hello I’m Grace! My family is from a tribe called Mizo. We are originally from a small place called Mizoram, which is a state in north east India. I study graphic design in a Taiwanese University in the city of Kaohsiung. I love drawing, singing and baking, and am a huge fan of different cultures and popular media!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended this app since he’s experienced Couchsurfing before, I was incredibly interested. I love getting to know new people and experiencing living with them and making memories. It would also be extremely helpful if a local (and active) host can take me around places and show me all the hidden gems of the place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I love thriller and psychological horror, but there are many different genres I enjoy as well. Some of my favorite movies are Silence of the Lambs, District 9, Pan’s Labyrinth, What we do in the shadows, Audition (1999), and Martyrs (original)
Music: this also varies, but I like bands/artists such as Foster the People, Rabbit Junk, Mindless Self Indulgence, Impending Doom, Mac Demarco, Allie X, Cherry Glazerr, CRIM3S, and Grimes
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I do freelance art commissions by earning money through online, this helped me raise enough to support myself during my very first solo trip to Tokyo last year, along with meeting two online friends I’ve never met in real life before.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a few basics on how to draw digitally! I can even try to teach a bit of English, Mandarin Chinese, and my mother tongue Mizo (I’m not very good Haha)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can do chores! From dish washing, to laundry to sweeping/mopping, etc. Just let me know what I can help with and I will do my best to cooperate. I can even assist in cooking and baking, but I am more experienced with baking in comparison.
