ABOUT ME

I'm very curious. I place a premium on conversation. I like to use my body to play with subtle and not-so-subtle suggestions that architectural spaces have on our behavior. Any place where I can stretch out on the floor is a good one.

I'm the oldest of five kids (age 18,15,6, and 3.) I'm very rooted in my family. Especially the 6 year old, Tommy, has taught me to take children's opinions quite seriously. I think about art through this lens, sometimes.

Mind-mapping helps me make sense of things. Likely, if we talk, your ideas will end up on a map somehow. This style makes sense to me because it is fluid and can always be extended for new and contradicting ideas. That's kind of how I think. I love hearing stories, political opinions, and local histories.

The talking-dissecting-mapping wheel is always spinning in my noggin but I also love me some serious PLAYTIME. goofing around, making up sports [pine cone war] and playing old ones [ice hockey, lacrosse], exploring new landscapes, unrestrained art making flow/
