About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet and connect with as many lovely souls as possible. I want to cook a meal with the world, take beautiful long walks, and laugh till it hurts.

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, outgoing, energetic, and up for anything. An avid traveler since a young age, I am on a mission to visit as many small markets, windy alley ways, and lovely couches as humanly possible.

PHILOSOPHY

If you can't imagine it, imagine you can imagine it.

the universe dreams through our dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed in China and I would love to show anyone around the wonderful Crown Heights area in Brooklyn- lets go to the park!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed several nights at a few different places in China. They were all truly wonderful experiences and made being in a foreign country feel much less foreign.

Music, Movies, and Books

music- deertick, jaymay, amadou & mariam, discovery, cake, ben folds five, ben harper, yeasayer. mmmhmmusic.

books- east of eden, into thin air and into the wild, his dark materials, poisonwood bible, a farewell to arms, anna karenina

movies- anything by werner herzog but especially encounters at the end of the world... "the universe dreams through our dreams." Also, reservoir dogs, the Darjeeling limited, the big lebowski, young frankenstein, and true romance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a remote nunnery in the Dhokar region of Nepal for three weeks after learning Nepali for a few months in Kathmandu. Not only was it breathtakingly gorgeous, but it had a great view of tibet and some of the most beautiful, caring women I have ever met.

I also watched the sunrise migration of the wildebeest from a hot hair balloon in Kenya. When the sun came up over the horizon, the pilot said, "another day in paradise."

Teach, Learn, Share

I study food for my masters and teach cooking to tiny humans for work. I would love to teach you a thing or two about cooking with whole foods to make really tasty meals.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
