ABOUT ME

originates from Johor, Malaysia but grew up mostly in Sandakan. I'm studying to be a Mechanical Engineer, hoping that someday i'll be able to build a plane engine ;) or any part of a plane. I'm a person who is intrigued by lots of things-languages, people, places, cultures, arts, food..hopefully not poking my nose in wrong places! i have a wide range of interests(probably too much that it's getting distracting?)..i love and appreciate the chance to learn, moreover i think it is a privilege to be a student, an observer of the world while i travel, a listener to many great individual stories and i will never take for granted-a friendly smile, a kind gesture, a warm greeting...oh, i love coffee! so yea, would love it if i have more chances to grab a cuppa with y'all out there! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

i love the world too much to be afraid of the danger of exploring it. every creation speaks of the creator. i will continue to praise God for everything He has created and done. question, discuss and find out the stories beneath the façade of things.

Interests

mountain climbing, figure skating, scuba diving, music, writing....i am really interested in meeting people and see the way others think!
i tried mountain skiing and cross country skiing and i absolutely love cross country skiing! (country recommended: Estonia)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ice-skating outdoor on a huge frozen lake! well, probably it's no big deal for all of you who live in four seasons country. but since i'm from Malaysia, which has only ONE indoor ice-skating rink in the entire country, i think it's pretty awesome. sometimes there're long cracks and skating across it gives me the thrill! cycling to le Mont St. Michel. discovering amazingly yummy cheese in Europe!!
oops, before i've realized i've written more than ONE amazing thing..!
scuba diving is also amazing. colourful fishes swimming in front of my face! i'll love to do more of this.
hitchhiking and all the experiences that come with it. would love to do more of this too.

Teach, Learn, Share

i heard from a friend that CS is not just about getting a free place to crash when you travel but to open up to learn, mingle and share. i think everyone is one of a kind and it's really a pity if i don't get to know people whom i've met beyond the surface of mere salutations. Everyone knows something that i don't and so, i'll be inspired by them in different ways. well, i can explain and tell you about composite materials in aircraft, if you want to know! i can discuss my religious point of view with you and stories that i've collected during travelling which i will continue to collect! i can tell you about my country which i think is really a unique one in South East Asia :)
