About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore! and map!... and explore!
ABOUT ME
I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to 2 southern parents way out of their element. We lived there for 8-9 years until my family had to move to Texas for work. Talk about culture shock after culture shock. Aside from that, I'm also half Lebanese, so I've grown up with a big and crazy Mediterranean family.
All of that has really made me interested in meeting new people from different places. Having an eclectic background myself, I love to see how places can shape people. It's also made me want to travel as much as possible, though I haven't really had the chance to do that yet!
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy isn't anything really thought out or thought provoking. Pretty much I'm about just having new experiences, finding things I like to do and enjoying life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm completely new to the Couch Surfing thing. I have a lot of friends who have traveled all throughout Europe and they've been singing its praises ever since. So I decided to create an account for the times when I'll finally be able to start traveling.
Interests
I love classic rock, science fiction of all kinds, politics, classic cars, all animals, making maps, swimming, exploring new cities, public transpo, bluegrass, action movies, comic books (mostly marvel universe), sporcle, hiking... Pretty much most things!

Music, Movies, and Books
Action movies are always fun, but I also love seeing really silly movies (especially the ones that take themselves too seriously) and laughing inappropriately. Classic rock is definitely my favorite genre of music but I will really enjoy anything, including bluegrass, dubstep and electronic, 90s music.. you name it.
Book-wise I tend to stick to the sci-fi/fantasy genre like RA Salvatore or Robert Jordans Wheel of time, but I'll try out anything really.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was little my mom took my brother and I to this wildlife refuge, where they were taking care of a baby tiger. It was only a couple months old but already larger than any house cat, but it was sweet and playful and loved to cuddle and run. We got to spend the afternoon with her and it is still one of the coolest experiences of my life!
